4/16/01--No. 9 completes a few new originals, you might be able to hear them at the May 5th gig at Otis'..make sure you're there.

4/15/01--No. 9 Rd. would like to wish everybody a Happy Easter and good luck finding all those colored eggs.

4/11/01--No. 9 Rd. has a few gigs coming up soon. May 5th at Otis' in Xenia and May 19th at Taylorsville Tavern in Huber Heights.(Phil's old stomping grounds!) Make sure to catch us at one of these places.

3/23/01--No. 9 will be starting the recording (finally!!) on April 8th. We are hoping to have our next CD out sometime in May.

3/18/01--No. 9 Rd. would like to thank everybody that came out and drank green beer with us last night. A special thanks to Legacy and Bo Jangles for having us out. The club was totally packed that night and we can't wait to play there again.

3/11/01--No. 9 Rd. is announcing that we have patched things up with Kevin Hutchings. He is going to be returning to No. 9 Rd. on a permanent basis starting tomorrow. He will be making his first debut back on St. Patty's Day. Welcome back Kevin, we missed you. Also a special thanks to Don Frame for sitting in with us while Kevin was gone.

3/8/01--Justin, Heather,and Phil were lucky enough to catch what Justin calls "The Greatest Show on Earth!", the Matchbox20 concert down in Cincy!! If anybody saw that show too, give us you insight on what you thought of the show. We also saw a killer cover band down in Cincy called Jacobin's Playground. If your in that area check them out, they are well worth it!

3/1/01--No. 9 Rd. annouces that it will be doing a show on St. Patrick's Day with Legacy. Come out and drink some green beer with us!

2/24/01--No. 9 Rd. would like thank everybody that came out and supported us this past weekend on our little "tour" with Fatal Chemystry.

2/13/01--No. 9 Rd. would like to wish everybody a Happy Valentine's Day. Especially our favorites Heather, Erika and Jeannette!

2/13/01--We will be doing alot of new covers at our show on Feb 23rd and 24th. We will be doing some new Godsmack, Rage, Marilyn Manson, Linkin Park, and others.

2/11/01--Phil, Walker, and Justin did an interview today with Jennica Stout from the Dayton Daily News. Look for an article on us in the Dayton Daily on either Feb 22nd or Feb 23rd.

2/1/01--Due to personal and musical differences, No. 9 Rd. has unfortunately cut ties with our drummer, Kevin Hutchings. He has not been replaced yet, but we do have a drummer filling in until we find a new full-time drummer. Don Frame from the band, Happy Accident, will be doing the next few shows with us.

1/24/01--Just a reminder that we've added two shows to our calender. Feb 23rd at Twisters with Fatal Chemystry and Feb 24th at Otis's in Xenia, also with Fatal Chemystry. We are going to be working our first full length CD this month and next so keep your eyes open for our next CD release party!

1/20/01--We want to thank everybody who came out and had fun with us last night. Disagreed put on a great show. They have a new bass player, Jeff, but the band did not miss a beat! Make sure to take some time to see them, they kick major ass!!

1/19/01--We will be kicking ass at Twisters tonight so make sure to come check us out!!

1/9/01--Phil's Birthday. I think he turns 29 again. So make sure to buy him a drink at the next show!!

1/8/01--Today is Elvis's Birthday and Walker's son was born today too!! Walker Philip that is. Congrats to Walker and Erika!! (That kid was born with a guitar in his hands!!)

1/5/01--Musicians don't forget to attend the Artist Development Workshop at Twisters this Sunday. Phil will be there, and maybe Justin too. A reminder that this Tues (Jan 9) is Phil's birthday! Hook him up at the show with some "Happy Juice"!!

1/4/01--We hope that everybody had a safe and fun holiday. Right now we are patiently awaiting the arrival of Walker's first child ( you all know him/her as the star of the HOPE CD cover!! ) We'll let you know!

12/20/00--This just in!!! We were planning on taking Jan and Feb off to work on our new cd, but by popular demand, WE ARE GOING TO DO A SHOW AT TWISTERS ON FRIDAY JANUARY 19TH!!

12/16/00--Last night's show was great success!! Lots of new people came and saw No.9 Rd. for the first time, and we hope we will see them all again. A big thank you to Red Earth for jamming with us!

11/30/00--We just wanted to let all the Number Nine Road fans that we've been practicing hard. We have written a four new originals and we will be playing them on Dec. 15th. Plan on hearing Forever, She Said She Loved Me (New), and a few others. As well as some new Green Day, Korn, Three Doors Down, and Pearl Jam covers. This is going to be a kick ass show. Make sure you are there because we will be taking the whole month of January and February off to record our next full length CD!!

11/28/00--Walker celebrates his 21st birthday, once again!! Help him celebrate this by buying him a shot of Southern Comfort on our Dec.15th show at Twisters!!

11/24/00--We would like to thank Fatal Chemystry for jamming with us on Thanksgiving Day! We had a great time and so did all the people who came out.

11/12/00--Just a reminder that we have two shows coming up..both at Twister's. Thanksgiving Day (November 23rd) with Fatal Chemystry, and Friday December 15th with Red Earth. Also we will be doing some new originals on the Dec 15th show, so make sure your there to rock the house down with No.9 Rd.!!

11/10/00--No.9 played a kick ass opening set for "Just Us" at Twister's. For those of you who haven't seen Just Us, make sure to check them out, they rocked the house down. I'm sure you will be seeing more No. 9 Rd. and Just Us shows together in the future.

10/25/00--No.9 adds a show at Twisters on Friday November 10th. We will be playing with a killer band called, Just Us. Also come jam with us on Thanksgiving night at Twisters. We will be jamming with Fatal Chemystry.

10/22/00--FINALLY!! Finally Justin is happy!! The Cincinnati Bengals finally win a game! Don't get used to it, Justin!

10/21/00--Number Nine Road played a kick ass show at the Backstreet Grill!! A special thanks to all who showed up after the STP/Godsmack show!! And..we were all graced by the presence of Travis, from Disagreed, and Donnie, Matty and Dave from Lead Sled Dogs! Thanks for the support, guys! Also, Phil gets drunk, locks his keyes in his car, but DOES NOT PASS OUT!!

10/2/00--Number Nine Road decides to cut ties with Dr. Dave's Avenue Lounge for business and personal reasons. No. 9 Rd. will not be playing here any longer. We are going to be making appearances at other local clubs soon, so keep in touch with this website to find out where we will be playing next! 10/1/00--Last night's show with Disagreed was a huge success!! We sold more CD's then expected, and hopefully made an impression with WTUE and any new fans! Thanks to everybody who come out and supported us that night!

9/30/00--Ahh!! Tonight is our big show!! Everybody make sure to come out and kick some ass with No. 9 Rd. and Disagreed!!

9/24/00--Number Nine Road finally finished recording our first demo CD, called "Hope" We will have plenty for sale at our live WTUE remote on September 30th. Make sure to come out and pick up a copy!!

9/3/00--Number Nine adds a few new songs to the set. Some heavy shit for those of you who like it heavy. Last Resort (Papa Roach), and Sleep Now in the Fire (Rage).

8/27/00--Number Nine begins recording a demo CD which is tentatively titled "The Avenue Lounge Sessions!!"

8/25/00--Announced that we will be doing a LIVE WTUE REMOTE BROADCAST ON SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 30TH!! Disagreed with be playing with us that night!!

8/18/00--Number Nine packs the Avenue once again. Seems that people can't get enough of our single, "HOPE"!! Keep up the support!!

7/21/00--Walker gets drunk. What a surprise! Phil proposes to Britney Spears...gets shot down.

7/14/00--Number Nine adds a couple new songs: Bent, Arms Wide Open, Keep Away, into set! Come check it out!!

7/7/00--Number Nine Road plays its first of many shows at Dr. Daves. The magic of No. 9 Rd. is back!!

6/24/00--Number Nine Road makes a deal with Dr. Dave's Avenue Lounge. We will be playing there every Thursday (Open Jam Night) and Friday (The Whole F'n Show) Nights!!

6/10/00--Number Nine Road decides to get back together after a year's hiatus. Walker Bailey, Justin Creech, and Kevin Hutchings reform the band. Eric Arvai is now playing with the local band, "Element", and is replaced by Phil Rench on bass.
